Each year between 60 and 80 Stony Brook Undergraduates participate in a wide array of intergernational online credit-bearing internships, bringing campus and community together to write side by side with the common goal of using personal memoir to change hearts, minds and policies, one story at a time. Herstory Writers Workshop, an organization that has helped thousands of heretofore silenced Long Islanders find their voices, and the Humanities Institute at Stony Brook invite you to join a 12-week campus/community workshop with the goal of generating stories that will advance the movement for equity, inclusion and justice at this time when every one of our voices is needed to protect our most basic human rights. We invite you to start your writing journey in any of the themed online workshops described below.

 

Student participants may earn up to 3 credits and fulfill EXP+. For more information, contact susan.scheckel@stonybrook.edu.
