For thirteen years, Herstory has never turned a woman away because of her lack of ability to pay for workshops. However, and following the course of so many other nonprofits in this time of severe reductions in private and public funding, as a general rule we are no longer able to offer scholarships, with the exception of those we have designated for women who started working with us in prison.
Scholarships to others are possible only when grants and contributions to Herstory are designated for scholarship purposes. One exemplary Herstory workshop site raises money to underwrite its own group so that economic diversity of members may be maintained.
All donations to the scholarship fund are 100% tax deductible and may be designated for a friend, family member or loved one. Undesignated scholarship contributions are welcome, as well. Please consider giving to our scholarship fund today. Link to give here.
