The Women on the Job project of the Long Island Fund for Women and Girls is providing support for one of its task force members representing women in nontraditional employment, Joyce Collier, a journeywoman plumber, with the opportunity to study with Herstory. Joyce’s story along with five others crafted by Herstory participants will be showcased at
National Pay Equity Day 2010, April 20, presented in partnership with the Long Island Women’s Institute of CW Post –LIU with the goal of providing Herstory’s resources to other task force members as an advocacy tool.
